God Of All Situations

God Of All Situations

One of Moses' main bone of contention with God concerning God's choice of him to be the midwife of Israel's salvation from Egypt was the question of God's identity. It becomes very important when we look back at Moses' first experience
at trying to do his people good.

The question he was asked was a question of identity and source of authority. The man asked him, in Exodus 2:14 “Who made thee a prince and a judge over us?” No wonder he now asks God to identify himself in Exodus 3: 14, “And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? What shall I say unto them?

The thing I want to bring out is the answer that God gave to him. God replied Moses in Exodus 3: 14, “… I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” As a believer in Jesus Christ, do you know that God has not changed His name? do you know that He remains the same, as it is written in Hebrews 13:8, yesterday, today and forever? Do you know he is the God of all situations? Let us look at that name 'I AM THAT I AM' critically. I AM, connotes the present.

When you say 'I am', you are telling us about now but God did not stop at saying I AM; He says, I AM THAT I AM, in other words, 'I am continuously, presently present' or 'I was, I am and I will continue to be'. In fact, the New Testament version of I AM THAT I AM is found in Revelation 4: 8, “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.” Your God is the Old School, Present School and Future School all in one. He is the one who cannot ever expire.

Beloved, do not get frustrated with life. You have a God who is the God of all flesh. The one with whom nothing is impossible. The miracles you experienced in the past are not the end of all that your God is capable of. Your present situation, notwithstanding is nothing big in the eyes of your God. The God who saw you through childhood will see you through manhood or womanhood. The God who saw you through school will establish you in your business or on a great job.

The one who made you wonderfully and fearfully has a husband or wife for you and you will not miss him or her. The God who got you married will perfect your fruitfulness. The God who promised you the satisfaction of long life will
accomplish it in Jesus name. No disease can truncate God's will in your life in Jesus name. Do not be like the children of Israel in the wilderness who said in Psalm 78: 19-20, “Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?” For doubting God, they suffered the anger of the Lord.

No matter what your condition is right now, God is able and He is willing and will show up for you today. If He was your God yesterday, then let Him be your God today and always. Let Psalm 46: 1-3 be your confession and meditation, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof” The Apostle Peter says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward,” (2 Peter 3:9).

Don't let the devil push you into a corner of desperation where you feel a need to do something on your own because of 'God's lateness'. King Saul fell for that devil's trick and lost the throne, he and his family forever. I trust that you will not wait as long like Sarah. I pray that you do not face the fire like Shadrach Meshach and Abednego. You will not be buried like Lazarus but even in all these instances, the situations were all awesomely taken care of in spite of 'God's lateness'. I pray for you this day; that your patience will hold until you see, handle and take the possession of God's promise to you in Jesus name.

Your God lives and reigns. He came, He died, He rose again and now lives to defend your cause forever more. He is the God of all situations. He is your Jehovah-Raah, The Lord your Shepherd. No bear or wolf can snatch you away neither will you lack the best of pasture. In fact, the lines are fallen unto you in pleasant places and you have a goodly inheritance in Him in Jesus name. He is your Jehovah Rapha, the Lord that heals you and keeps you healthy. By His stripes, you have been made whole. No devil can put on you what God has taken away. He is your Jehovah Shammah, The Lord who is ever with you in the person of the Holy Spirit.

Beloved you are not alone He is your Jehovah Tsidkenu, The Lord your Righteousness. He is the one who helps you to desire and to do what pleases Him. Depend on Him and you will not struggle to live a godly and victorious life. He is your Jehovah Mekoddishkem, The Lord who sanctifies you. You are washed clean, not by the blood of bulls and goats but by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. He is your Jehovah Jireh. He will always provide the provision and make you a way. He is your Jehovah Shalom, The Lord your peace.

From this day, the Lord fill your heart with His peace, the type that keeps a man's heart calm and collected, assured of victory even when the devil is at his worst in Jesus name. Beloved, your God is more than this write up can afford to reveal. He is all that you need Him to be, according as your case shall require. Stay put in Him. Believe in Him. Call on His name. Hear His word, receive His word, speak His words, believe His word and act on His word. He is your God of all situations and he will never let you down. See you on the side of victory in Jesus name.
