One of the things that is common in life today is unfair and inhuman treatment from others. It is common to see the rich and strong, oppressing the poor and the weak. Many times the disadvantaged party does not even seek revenge, he just seeks a way of escape.
The real mission of Jesus Christ has always been to reconcile men to God. Jesus says to His disciples in Luke 10:2, “… The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”
Jesus speaks in John 12: 26, “If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honor.” Here he makes it clear that service to God is more than worth the while.
