You Shall Not Go Empty

One of the things that is common in life today is unfair and inhuman treatment from others. It is common to see the rich and strong, oppressing the poor and the weak. Many times the disadvantaged party does not even seek revenge, he just seeks a way of escape.

He knows he does not have what it takes to face his strong enemy so he is ever on the lookout for an open door, an escape route… he just wants to be free. The children of Israel were in the land of Egypt for too long. Their journey to Egypt was peaceful. They came into Egypt as celebrated sojourners because of the contribution of Joseph which preserved Egypt and the world.

Indeed, what Joseph did made Egypt a world super power but that has long been forgotten. Their relevance had, as it were, expired and now, the brethren of the man that gave Egypt her super power status have become perpetual slaves, seeking only to escape. They had become slaves in the land they helped to preserve and of course as slaves, their labours in Egypt were not paid for. They were at the mercies of the heathen. People whose gods were no gods oppressed the children of the Most High God.

Perhaps you are going through the same thing in your life. Life may not be fair to you. You may be going through a disappointment or rejection. You were once celebrated but because your fortunes dwindled, you have expired in their sight. You may have been going through maltreatment, or you may have been shortchanged in life and you are asking, 'is God really God?' I want you to know today that God is still God and He has not forgotten you.

In Exodus 2: 23- 25, it is written, “… and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.” He did not just remember them. He is not just the God that pities.

Beyond sympathy, He goes all out to change the ugly status quo. He sought a man he could use. He located Moses. God is locating your Moses today in Jesus name. Moses was a man who tried to make a difference before but opposition and fear for his life made him run away but God still went to him and said, in Exodus 3: 10, “Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.” Listen; it is not that all that could have helped you have forgotten you.

Some still want to help but the enemy is opposing them and some have become afraid and want to stay far away from you as possible but God won't let that be. In spite of all the enemy is doing, God must still prevail for you in Jesus name. I want you to know that your Moses is coming. He may not want to come but God will make sure he does. They may not think they are able but God will use them. They may not look qualified but God will use them. They may not like your face but your helpers are coming.

If you are tired of that situation, God is the more displeased with it and whatever it takes, God is bringing you out of those tears and sorrows, today in Jesus name. But God was not just interested in bringing them out. You just want to escape but God wants more than that. Of course, nobody pays his slave for doing as commanded but for you to own a slave, you have to buy him.

The Egyptians did not buy the children of Israel. They just forced themselves on the people of God. He ensured that the Egyptians paid up all the arrears they owed the children of Israel for the services they had rendered to them and even more. The devil didn't buy you. He has no right to afflict you and God is will make sure he pays a hundred fold. He gave them favour. They did not have to fight. Exodus 3: 21- 22, “And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty: But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

Your time for deliverance is today. I decree, All your monies that are tied down in the hands of business debtors are released in Jesus name. Your health that has defied all drugs is released in Jesus name. Your inability to resist temptation is turned around right now in the name of Jesus. Every helper of your destiny that is resisting God, like Moses, I move them to you from the wilderness today in the name of Jesus. Every right that has been denied you, like Mordecai is hereby revisited and restored to you in the name of Jesus.

Your enemies will serve you. Your life becomes a wonder and a testimony in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not just going to get what you need or what you were owed. God is putting upon you now, the capacity to be a blessing to others. Go now and touch somebody who is sick nearby…That healing power that just came upon you will now flow to them in Jesus name. Go now and let others know that God is still alive and fulfilling His word. You shall not go empty. Nobody will go back empty that comes to you. You are blessed and now you have become a blessing in Jesus name. Amen.
