God is mindful of you. As a Nigerian, He is mindful of you. As a Kogite, He is mindful of you. As a Freedomite, He is mindful of you. As a believer, He is mindful of you. As a person, He is mindful of you. The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy in 2Timothy 1:4, “Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;” That is a spiritual father’s concern for his son. Jesus referring to earthly fathers in Luke 11:13 says, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”
As a child of God in times like these, you have to tap into the inner recesses of the heart of God to see how He really feels about you. He says in Jeremiah 31: 3, “…I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee” and in Jeremiah 29: 11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” In times like these we ought to look back in time and see how he dealt with His children in the past and see that what He did before, He is able to and will do again and again if we will believe.
In 2 Kings 6: 24 to the end and the entire chapter 7, we see a dramatic story. Israel’s economy was recessed and even depressed by means of a siege. The Syrians besieged the capital city of Samaria and the entire economy melted to the extent that the people turned to cannibalism. The people tried to turn to and cry to their king but the king replied in Chapter 6: 27 “…, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?” Whether our leaders confess it or not, we must get to realise that only God can help us now.
What we need now is to hear the word of God and believe it. This is the time for the believers to excel. This is the time for us to have a turn around. Chapter 7 opens with a word from the Prophet Elisha proclaiming a 24 hour miracle. He said, “Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.” It was too good to be true. No wonder the man upon whose arm the King leaned, who I believe was either an economist or an accountant who was more at home with his professional books more than he was with the ways of God said jesting, “Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?” Elisha did not waste time in letting him know the implication of his unbelief. He replied him, “Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.” The king was neither an economist nor a prophet but he needed a solution and decided to go with the man who had the words of hope rather than sticking with the man whose interpretation of the economic trends kept telling him that the ‘Naira’ would still fall and that there was no hope in sight. At least, even though the king did not voice out his belief in the words of the prophet, his silence showed he at least gave God the benefit of the doubt. As a child of God, I challenge you to believe the word of God more than the word of our economic analysts. God’s word brings hope that cannot be put to shame but their words bring depression. Go with God! Go with your pastor!
Beloved, it happened just as the prophet said and the man who did not believe died, seeing it and not partaking of it. God can give us as a nation, a State, a people and even as individuals a turnaround in the next 24 hours.
We receive now a National and a State testimony in Jesus name. We receive a ministry-wide testimony in Jesus name. We receive congregational testimonies in all our branches in Jesus name. Receive a family and an individual testimony in Jesus name.
I walk you out of every financial, material, physical, emotional and psychological recession into prosperity in your spirit soul and body in Jesus name. I proclaim that you, above all things prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers in Jesus name. I command that you begin to enjoy wealth transfer. I decree that according to Psalm 32: 8, and Isaiah 48:17 God will himself “instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go and guide you with His eye” and “teach you to profit,…” and I pray that you too will submit to God’s leading in Jesus name.
What God requires from you at this time and always is that you will believe His word as He sends it via the mouth of His servant and that you make your move towards and against your challenge. The people of Israel were waiting to see how God will fulfill the word of the prophet but only the lepers put their faith to work by going to the enemy’s camp. Only then did they realise that God had done it all. I pray that you will not take the word of God for granted for God has put His servants in your life to work out your prosperity.
I see God doing the impossible in your life. I see God perfecting your vision and bringing to pass your most impossible looking expectations just like a dream in Jesus name. Amen.
