Pastor Edih Godwin, a Bassa-Nge by tribe was born into the family of late Mr. Gabriel Edih and Lucy Edih of ate-Ebobo Sabe, Bassa Local Government Area, Kogi State, who later migrated to Emi-Akaya, Bassa-Nge before he was born on 22nd December, 1964.
He bagged a Bachelor of Education in Social Studies from the famous Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2001. He works with the Kogi State Teaching Service Commission as a teacher.
He got saved during his teachers College days at Dutsin-Ma in the current Kastina State, Nigeria in 1980 and his life has never been the same again.
He joined Chapel of Freedom Int’l Churches in 1997 shortly after his marriage. He was ordained as a Deacon and then later as a Pastor by Bishop John Ibenu, his father and mentor.
He currently serves as resident pastor of the Galilee branch of the ministry in Lokoja and also as the District Overseer of the Lokoja West group of Churches.
He is happily married to Deaconess Florence Edih and they are blessed with two daughters, Comfort and Precious.
